Quick and easy Vegan puff pastry appetizers
Quick and easy vegan cheesy puff pastry appetizers for any social evening
When I say quick and easy vegan puff pastry appetizers, I really mean it. These delicious party starters take less than 10 minutes to prepare and bake. In fact, they take exactly 5 minutes to prepare (I timed it) and precisely 4 minutes and 30 seconds to be ready. So if you decide to throw a last-minute party and have some vegan pastry in your fridge, you are good to go. They also last well for the evening if put on a dinner table so don't worry about them, they don't need to be served warm.
Right, I know what you are wondering. Are they really cheesy if they are vegan? Well, actually, a sprinkle of nutritional yeast will make them the best, nutty, cheesy puff pastry appetizers you can possibly think about. They also melt in your mouth because they are made from puff pastry.
How to make vegan puff pastry appetizers
As simple as roll out the puff pastry, cut perfect rounds with a cookie cutter, put them in the oven for less than 5 and serve. Wow, that quick and easy. These were the trick to our dinner parties when we were kids. Our mums would invite kids over for birthdays and serve these. Every single kid loved them. Turns out, adults love them just as much. If you want to be extra cool, you can always serve them with some hummus dip on the side. If you love puff pastry, you can also try making Purslane Pockets (Lebanese Bakleh) which are basically puff pastry filled with freshness and aromas.

Notes
These wonderful vegan puff pastry appetizers bake very, very fast. All it takes is a few extra seconds for them to become burn and unedible. For my oven, it takes precisely 4 minutes and 30 seconds to bake to perfection until golden with a touch of brown. Please keep an eye on your first batch to ensure they don't overcook.
