Vegan Cheese Rolls
Super quick and easy vegan cheese rolls made with puff pastry and nutritional yeast
If you are looking for a 15-minute quick vegan snack you are in the right place. My cheese rolls are super quick and easy to make and they taste incredible. Their secret is the nutritional yeast which really makes them taste cheesy and the puff pastry is super light and fluffy. I made these several times for guests as well, as they are perfect appetizers at short notice.
Put together puff pastry and nutritional taste and you will get the most amazing vegan snack ever. Besides, you already know I'm loving puff pastry appetizers and I even love wrapping puff pastry around asparagus spears.
How to make vegan cheese rolls
These cheese rolls are done in a blink of an eye. All you need is puff pastry (make sure it's vegan), some olive oil for brushing, nutritional yeast, sea salt, peppercorn and some oregano.
Preheat the oven to 175C/350F.
Place the puff pastry sheet on a chopping board and brush with olive oil. Sprinkle with nutritional yeast, sea salt, peppercorn and oregano. Cut the puff pastry into long strips, then roll each strip. Make sure the roll is tight and sealed at the edge.
Super easy right? Place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in the centre of the oven for about 10 minutes until you see them golden and crisp. Serve them fresh and enjoy!

I think my puff pastry sheet was way too thick but they still turned out great! Definitely making this again in the future.
